Art Under the Stars is a bold new fundraising event supporting the Stars Academy Scholarship Fund for low-income families living or working in Charlotte County. Happening March 14, 2026, at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds, the evening will feature a live art auction, immersive exhibits, music, and storytelling. We’re forming a creative, passionate planning committee—and we need your voice! Fishermen’s Village is proud to announce plans are well underway for their Independence Day Holiday Celebration, Friday, July 4, 2025.  Admission and parking are free and the public is cordially invited to attend. The festivities kick off at 12 noon!  Family friendly activities/vendors will be featured on the Village Promenade from 12 noon-6 pm.  Live entertainment to be featured:  Cedrick Talton Experience (funk and blues), 12 noon-4 pm in Center Court. From 5-9 pm, musician Mark Gorka performs in Center Court and From the Edge Band takes the main stage on the Dry Beach with their unique blend of country, rock and dance music, 5-9 pm.  We salute our nation with a beautiful FIREWORKS DISPLAY beginning at 9 pm!
