- Business Card Exchange, 5-7 p.m. July 24 at the Military Heritage Museum, 900 W. Marion Ave., Punta Gorda. This is a must-see, an amazing destination jewel within our community. There will be appetizers, drinks, icebreaker game for everyone to enjoy, and tours of the museum. Make sure to bring a gift to promote your business.
- New Teachers’ Breakfast, 7:30-8:45 a.m. July 30 at Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center, 75 Taylor St., Punta Gorda. Charlotte County Public Schools will be welcoming 200 new teachers this year. We are asking for our members to sponsor a new teacher or teachers. Each sponsor will be able to have breakfast with a new teacher for a heart-warming introduction and convey great information about our community. Sponsors will also be able to provide 200 items for the new teachers goodie bags (gift/promo items only, no flyers). It’s $50 to sponsor a new teacher. Registration is required. RIBBON CUTTINGS:
Ribbon cuttings are an effective way to meet the business owners — and fellow chamber members — in an informal atmosphere and develop great connections.
