It’s not every day you get to reach 100 years old
July 14, 2025
This year marks a momentous milestone for Charlotte County. It’s the 100th anniversary of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce.
For a century, our vital organization under countless of dedicated leaders has been the heartbeat of our community, fueling economic growth, advancing local businesses, and strengthening the bonds that make Charlotte County a special place to live, work and play.
Founded in 1925, the Charlotte County Chamber began as a small group of forward-thinking business leaders committed to promoting commerce and collaboration. Over the decades, it has evolved into a powerful advocate for local businesses, a connector of resources, and a champion of community development. From supporting small startups to attracting major industries, the Charlotte County Chamber has played an integral role in shaping the county’s economic landscape.
Throughout our history, our organization has been instrumental in launching initiatives that benefit residents and businesses alike. Our efforts in workforce development, advocacy, and tourism promotion have helped create a resilient economy.
Community engagement has always been at the core of the Chamber’s mission. Over the years, we have hosted countless events from ribbon-cuttings, business expos, golf tournaments, effective leadership programs, Christmas parades, new teachers breakfast, and networking events that all promote advocacy, education, and innovation.
These gatherings have not only boosted local commerce but also nurtured a sense of pride and unity among residents and visitors.
As Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce celebrates its centennial, we look to the future with optimism and determination. Plans are underway for 100th Annual Awards Gala on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Charlotte Habor Event & Conference Center.
The Charlotte County Chamber remains committed to supporting local entrepreneurs, attracting new investments, and ensuring that Charlotte County remains a vibrant, thriving community for generations to come.
Looking back on a century of achievements, it’s clear that the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce is more than just a business membership organization; it’s a cornerstone of our community’s success.
Here’s to 100 years of progress, partnership, and prosperity and for the next 100 years to come!
