I know many of you have heard of our Leadership Charlotte program, our organizations premier initiative now entering its 37th year.

If you are looking to expand your leadership skills with strategic thinking and effective communications, experience a one-of-a-kind behind-the-scenes education about Charlotte County to deepen your understanding of Charlotte County’s unique economic, cultural, and social landscape, meet all the amazing people who make it happen, make professional and personal life-long connections, and leave a lasting legacy impact in our community, this enlightened experience is for you!
Moreover, our Leadership Charlotte program encourages a sense of community responsibility. Participants are inspired to become active contributors to our community, whether through volunteer work, policy advocacy, or leadership roles in nonprofit organizations. This sense of purpose nurtures a commitment to positive change and community stewardship, aligning personal ambitions with local development goals.

Don’t get left out. Only 25 applicants are accepted each year, and the selection process is very competitive. When completing your application, please make sure it’s comprehensive and thorough.

FOURTH-FEST 2025
The Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce is proud to present Fourth-Fest 2025!
We are excited to take on this long-standing community event for the entire family.
Fourth-Fest 2025 will be at Laishley Park from noon to 10 p.m. July 4. There will be no shortage of activities for everyone to enjoy. This year, there will be free admission to the park.
There will be live music all day, beginning at 1 p.m., Water Mania with 12 giant waterslides and a Kids Fun Zone. Food trucks and refreshments. Tons of food options, beer, and sodas (no outside food or beverages permitted).
The fireworks show will be at 9 p.m. sharp.

There are great sponsorship options for all budgets, with business exposure seen by thousands of attendees. Fourth-Fest is 100% funded by sponsors and donations. Let’s make this the best event ever.

- Business Card Exchange, 5-7 p.m. June 26, Suncoast Biplanes, 27450 Challenger Blvd., Punta Gorda. Food, refreshments, and a fun icebreaker.
NEW TEACHER BREAKFAST
The Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual New Teachers’ Breakfast from 7:30-8:45 a.m. July 30 at Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center, 75 Taylor St., Punta Gorda. Charlotte County Public Schools will be welcoming 200 new teachers this year.
We are asking for our members to sponsor a new teacher or teachers. Each sponsor will be able to have breakfast with a new teacher for a heart-warming introduction and convey great information about our community. Sponsors will also be able to provide 200 items for the new teachers goodie bags (gift/promo items only, no flyers).
