Time to support the Toys for Tots annual Backpack Campaign

May 13, 2024

The Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce office will be a collection site for Toys for Tots Annual Backpack Campaign.

All items collected will support Elementary school students, teachers, and schools. We will have a collection box at our office, 2702 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte.

We will collect school supplies through July 5.

Needed supplies include fidgets, sticky notes, markers, folders, binders, composition books, gallon Ziplock baggies, boxes of tissue, pencil pouches, index cards, hand sanitizer, backpacks (clear and regular), notebooks, pencils and pens, highlighters, crayons (24-pack), pocket folders with prongs, children’s headphones, glue sticks and disinfectant wipes.

This is such an amazing cause. Being able to assist the youth of our community and overall being part of the process in easing the burden of the much need schools supplies. Please swing by our chamber office and drop off any school supplies you can … it will be greatly appreciated.
