Today, I want to remind all our members of the incredible power we hold as a united force. Together, we are a remarkable team with limitless potential and boundless determination to strengthen the business community of Charlotte County.

Let us embrace challenges as opportunities for learning and growth. Let us support one another, lift each other up, and celebrate our achievements, no matter how big or small. Together, we can overcome any obstacle and reach new heights.

Believe in yourselves, believe in each other, and believe in the incredible impact we can make together. Let us march forward with courage, conviction, and an unshakeable belief in continuing to carve an economic driving force for our local community. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey with your dedication and unwavering passion for your business, our organization, and for a thriving community.

Being an indispensable partner for the business community of Charlotte County, our members are our lifeblood, and our organization is a business partner for the greater good of our membership and ultimately for Charlotte County and beyond.

Chamber activities-

Third Wednesday Coffee (member event): 8–9 a.m., Wednesday, April 17 at Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center, 75 Taylor St., Punta Gorda. Coffee sponsor: TBA. Guest speaker/program: TBA. Immediately following our program, we’ll have a ribbon-cutting for Insurance Professionals USA.

Coffee & Chat: 9–10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 18, Association of Realtors Building, 3320 Loveland Blvd., Port Charlotte. Topic: “Simple AI, Social Media, and Personal Branding Strategies” presented by Steve Black.

Business Card Exchange (member event): 5–7 p.m., Thursday, April 25, Parkside Assisted Living and Memory Cottage, 2595 Harbor Blvd., Port Charlotte. Appetizers, beer, wine and soft drinks will be provided. Fun and games, of course. Bring a gift to promote your business. Don’t forget your business cards.

Ribbon Cuttings

Ribbon cuttings are an effective way to meet the business owners (and fellow chamber members) in an informal atmosphere and develop great connections. Plus, you get familiar with their products and services provided. Please take the time to show your support and attend our ribbon cuttings!

Waggles Puppies (grand reopening): 5–6 p.m. (ribbon-cutting at 5:30 p.m.) Tuesday, April 16, 2686 Tamiami Trail, Suite 3A, Port Charlotte. Refreshments, snacks and raffles will be provided.

Florida Living Team/EXP Realty (grand opening): 5–7 p.m. (ribbon-cutting at 5:30 p.m.) Thursday, April 18 at 2686 Tamiami Trail, Unit 1A, Port Charlotte.

Bert’s Black Widow Harley-Davidson: 4–5:30 p.m. (ribbon-cutting at 4:45 p.m.) Tuesday, April 30, 2224 El Jobean Road, Port Charlotte. Appetizers, beer, soft drinks from the Twisted Fork will be provided. Gather in the showroom for a raffle ticket for a Black-Widow/Harley-Davidson gift basket.

Special events-

Celebrate National Karaoke Week: 5:30–7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 23 at Gilded Grape Winery & Wine Bar, 3796 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte. This event is organized by the Charlotte County Chamber Social Club. Bragging rights for the best costume resembling your singer, most memorable performance, and best group choreography. Open to all.
