■ Stages of Success Workshop, 9-10 a.m. Sept. 5 at the Board of Realtors office, 3320 Loveland Blvd., Port Charlotte. The topic is Estate Planning, presented by Christine Hause, VP, Senior Wealth Strategist, Crews Bank & Trust and Attorney Mark Martella, Martella Law. This class is ideal for any small business owner interested in creating or verifying and estate plan to protect their assets, heirs, and allow for a smooth administration. Learn how to protect your legacy and ensure your hard-earned assets are transferred smoothly to your loved ones. This class provides practical guidance for individuals and couples to navigate end-of-life planning, address challenges for themselves and their parents, and gain peace of mind knowing their plans are in place. Have your plans in place for when “Life Happens!”
■ F.U.N. Force Social Club Dart Tournament, 1-5 p.m. Sept. 6 at The Icehouse Pub, 408 Tamiami Trail N., Punta Gorda. Get your teams of 2-4 together and be ready for some friendly competition. It’s $10 per person includes dart tournament, trophies, light appetizers. Drinks are available for purchase. Adults only. ■ Network at Noon lunch,11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 10 at Hiram’s Gril at 115, 26349 Airport Road, Punta Gorda. Enjoy a delicious lunch buffet and network with the best.
■ Third Wednesday Coffee, 8-9 a.m. Sept. 17 at the Realtor Association, 3320 Loveland Blvd, Port Charlotte. Coffee Sponsor is the Punta Gorda Rotary.
Guest speaker is Denise Dull, president of the Florida International Air Show. She will present the amazing overall local impact the airshow provides. The airshow will be Nov. 1-2. We are fortunate to have the Blue Angels headlining amongst many other acrobatic displays of amazing maneuvers. Immediately following our program, we’ll conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
■ Business Card Exchange, 5-7 p.m. Sept. 25 at Valerie’s House, 233 E. Mckenzie St., Punta Gorda. Food, refreshments, and a fun game for all to enjoy. Please bring a gift to promote your business.
RIBBON CUTTINGS
Ribbon cuttings are an effective way to meet the business owners — and fellow chamber members — in an informal atmosphere and develop great connections. SPECIAL EVENT
The 100th Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce Annual Anniversary Awards Gala is 5-10 p.m. Sept. 27 at Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center. Formal attire. This special event marks a century of leadership, advocacy, collaboration, community growth, and success, and you are all part of this momentous celebration.
