Happy Labor Day from the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce

Bob White • September 1, 2025

From our board of directors and staff, we’d like to wish all of you a very safe, fun, and enjoyable Labor Day. It’s a tribute to the hard work, resourcefulness, and perseverance that fuels our local economy and strengthens our community. This holiday gives us a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate the countless individuals who contribute to our shared success; from frontline innovators, dedicated small-business owners, skilled tradespeople, to essential service organizations.

The Charlotte County Chamber proudly supports a thriving, inclusive labor ecosystem where opportunity, professional development, and collaboration go hand in hand. By creating networking opportunities, developing educational growth, and access to resources, we help our members elevate their businesses, attract top talent, and grow sustainable, competitive advantages. The result is a more resilient local economy with better wages, more stable employment, and increased community well-being.

As we honor all workers this Labor Day, let us recommit to creating pathways for growth, investing in workforce development, and championing fair, ethical practices that benefit everyone. Let’s celebrate the spirit of teamwork, mentorship, and shared responsibility that propels our community forward.

Wishing all of you a restorative holiday and renewed momentum for the season ahead. Here’s to collective success and a bright future for our Chamber and our community we love.

The Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to collaborate with C.A.R.E, The Center for Abuse & Rape Emergencies, to be a collection site for their Emergency Room Clothing Drive. We will be collecting new T-shirts, leggings, underwear, and sport bras to fill Hospital Response Bags for survivors of sexual assault. When someone is treated in the emergency room after their assault, their clothing is often kept as evidence. These Hospital Response Bags provide something soft, clean, and comfortable to wear home; and reminder to survivors they are not alone.
