Skin cancer and the ABCDE rule - May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, but in Southwest Florida, intense UV exposure is a year-round concern. During the month of May, Sea Grape Gallery will be featuring artist Donna Pape. Art is something Donna always loved. Drawing seemed to come easy to her. The praise and encouragement from teachers and friends drove her on. She majored in art at Main East High School in Park Ridge, Illinois. It was there she found her passion for oil painting. She continued her art education at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and the Art Institute in Chicago. Since moving to Florida in 2016, she has found inspiration all around her new Florida home.
