- Third Wednesday Coffee, 8-9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15 at Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference, 75 Taylor St. (Note the location change.) Coffee sponsor is Southwest Florida Insurance Associates. The program is our Quarterly New Member Showcase. This is an optimal opportunity for our members to meet our new members with a meet and greet; in addition to getting familiar with their products and services. Come on out and show your support to your fellow chamber family! New member introductions.
- Stages of Success Workshop, 8:30-10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17 at 3320 Loveland Blvd., Port Charlotte. Topic: Level Up Your Business with Creative AI Tools. This will be a 5-level series to understand and implement AI tools to enhance your business, and presented by Jocob Winge, Senior Director of Business Development, with TLC Marketing & Creative Services. Level 1, Content that Connects. Level 2, Communications that Build Community. Level 3, Smarter Strategy & Time Savers. Level 4, Data that Drives Growth. Level 5, Streamlining Success in Operations. The series is $100 and includes breakfast.
- Business Card Exchange, 5-7 p.m. Oct. 23 at Love Your SELFie Studio, 2826 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte. This will be our Halloween Bash and is a must-attend event. Prizes for best costumes. Food and refreshments will be provided. Bring a gift to promote your business — Get ready for a Howling Good Time!
RIBBON CUTTINGS
Ribbon cuttings are an effective way to meet the business owners — and fellow chamber members — in an informal atmosphere and develop great connections. - Ideal Retirement Solutions new location 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 17896 Toledo Blade Blvd., Ribbon cutting at 5:30. Food and refreshments will be available.
SPECIAL EVENTS
- HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, 4-7 p.m. Oct. 29 at 21298 Olean Blvd, Port Charlotte. Come on out and let’s all celebrate their 50th Anniversary. Food, and refreshments will be available.
- 47th Annual Charlotte County Chamber Christmas Parade, noon-1:30 p.m. Dec. 13. Our parade theme this year is “Elf Village Celebration.” We welcome the entire community to come on out and bring the kids, grandkids, and the entire family to enjoy one of the best community events of the year! The parade kicks off at noon at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center and then goes south on Taylor Street to the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center. We will have a very special visitor all the way from the North Pole. Thousands of spectators line the sidewalk of the parade route. Make sure you come out early to get a great view of the parade! Whether you are a member of our chamber or not, you are able to participate in our parade. Visit charlottecountychamber.org to complete your registration form. Entry fee is $50 if you represent a for-profit business, $35 for nonprofits.
