We will be planning the 46th Annual Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade which is scheduled to step off at Noon on December 14, 2024 (second Saturday in December) in downtown Punta Gorda. So put on your thinking caps and start planning your float, car or performing unit for this community event. More information will follow as we get closer to the date. Mission
To establish and maintain representation and information flow for Chamber members regarding government issues by proactive involvement in the governmental process.
Objectives and Goals
Update the annual policy statement.
Monitor state legislative issues.
Monitor County Commission, City Council and Charlotte County Airport Authority meetings.
Educate the membership and the general population regarding governmental issues that may affect the business community.
Educate the Board about issues on which they are asked to take a position.
Prepare Candidate’s Questions/Forum.
Develop a score card for state and local elected officials on issues of interest to the Chamber.
Organize the Chamber’s efforts to conduct a trip to Tallahassee during the legislative session.

To develop positive leadership qualities and a sense of community among our youth. It is an interaction between today’s community leaders and tomorrow’s future leaders. It is designed to heighten the awareness of the needs of our community and to show each person how they can make a difference. It is about the careers and life-style available to everyone who chooses to call Charlotte County their home.

Mission
To develop new and existing community leaders by providing an experiential education as the heritage, resources, opportunities and business environment in Charlotte County.
Objectives and Goals
Expose class members to the diverse nature of Charlotte County, including its education and governmental systems.
Educate class members on the environmental assets of our community, the threats to them and their importance to our economy and way of life.
Stimulate the activity of the class with the Chamber’s Committees and Task Forces.
Enhance communication between the Leadership Charlotte and the Junior Leadership Charlotte programs.
Create a re-certification program for Leadership Charlotte alumni.
