Registration is now open for Charlotte County Government Academy—this free one-day course is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Centennial Park Recreation Center, 1120 Centennial Blvd. in Port Charlotte. Government Academy provides opportunities to learn about the departments, programs and services under the Board of County Commissioners. An evening of excitement, prizes, and giving back is coming as C.A.R.E. hosts its Charity Quarter Frenzy on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Charlotte County Family Services Center in Port Charlotte. This one-of-a-kind event combines an auction, raffle, and home party atmosphere, where attendees use quarters to bid on items valued up to $100! Guests are encouraged to bring one to two rolls of quarters to join in the action. Additional raffles and items for purchase will also be available. Ages 18 and up.

The Integrity Charitable Foundation (ICF), the nonprofit arm of Integrity Employee Leasing, is proud to host its first Golf Tournament on July 11, 2026!
