Military Heritage Museum to Host 4th Annual Patriot’s Gala-The Military Heritage Museum invites the community to its 4th Annual Patriot’s Gala on Saturday, February 20, 2027, at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center in downtown Punta Gorda. The Florida International Air Show needs volunteers for this year's show on November 7 and 8, and the sign up process has changed. All they have to do is show up at remaining mandatory safety meeting below. Roles and positions will be assigned right there at the meeting. Mandatory safety meeting: Saturday, October 24, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Location: Beef 'O' Brady's, 1105 Taylor Rd.
Punta Gorda, FL 33950. Shift options are flexible. Volunteers can choose a half day (7:00 to 11:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) or a full day, on Saturday, Sunday, or both. The meeting covers duty types, parking locations, arrival times, and everything else they'll need to know. Each volunteer leaves with a bag that includes a wristband, map, parking pass, general admission ticket, and a food voucher. Food is sponsored by Mission BBQ, so nobody goes hungry.
