Charlotte County has a new online Community Speaker Request form to make it easy to request speakers for meetings and events. Community groups, HOAs and other organizations can invite county staff to present on a variety of topics, including public services and infrastructure. The form can also be used to request a speaker to learn more about the proposed extension of the 1% local option sales tax and projects it would fund. Gilstad Literacy Foundation, Inc. announces a charitable gift of $7,500 from the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation.
