Charlotte County Chamber launches website redesign

The Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to collaborate with C.A.R.E, The Center for Abuse & Rape Emergencies, to be a collection site for their Emergency Room Clothing Drive. We will be collecting new T-shirts, leggings, underwear, and sport bras to fill Hospital Response Bags for survivors of sexual assault. When someone is treated in the emergency room after their assault, their clothing is often kept as evidence. These Hospital Response Bags provide something soft, clean, and comfortable to wear home; and reminder to survivors they are not alone. Please come by the chamber office to drop off these much-needed items.The C.A.R.E Clothing Drive will run through Friday, Aug. 22. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
