The Charlotte County Chamber executes many initiatives throughout the year and each and every event is well attended with high energy and engagement. This is a testament to our amazing membership family who wish to put an even brighter spotlight on their business/organization and expanding their customer/client base.

I have witnessed firsthand the countless ways in which our organization has positively impacted our business community and supported the growth and development of local enterprises.



The Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce has played a pivotal role in developing a thriving business environment by facilitating networking opportunities, offering educational programs, and advocating for policies that promote economic growth.

Through the unwavering commitment of our membership family, our organization has become a beacon of support and inspiration for our membership and community partners. I would like to extend a special thank you to our dedicated staff and volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to organize events, provide valuable resources, and advocate on behalf of the business community. • Network at Noon Lunch, 11:45 a.m. Aug. 13 at 88 Keys, The Wyvern Hotel, 101 E. Retta Esplanade, Punta Gorda. You’ll enjoy a delicious selection of lunch options and network with the best.
• Third Wednesday Coffee, 8-9 a.m. Aug. 20 at Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center, 75 Taylor St., Punta Gorda. Coffee Sponsor is Wampler Varner Insurance. Guest speakers are Florida House Reps. Danny Nix (District 75) and Vanessa Oliver (District 76), who will present a comprehensive update of the legislative session up in Tallahassee. I anticipate this being a sold-out event. Register early.
• Business Card Exchange, 5-7 p.m. Aug. 28 at Port Charlotte Rehabilitation Center, 25325 Rampart Blvd., Deep Creek. Food, refreshments, and a fun icebreaker for all to enjoy. Please bring a gift to promote your business.

RIBBON CUTTINGS:

Ribbon cuttings are an effective way to meet the business owners — and fellow chamber members — in an informal atmosphere and develop great connections. • Big D’s Donuts & Bagels, 7:30-8:30 a.m. Aug. 18 at 2320 Tamiami Trial, Unit 5, Port Charlotte. Ribbon cutting at 8 a.m. Start your morning right with the best donut sample.

SPECIAL EVENT

The 100th Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce Annual Anniversary Awards Gala is 5-10 p.m. Sept. 27 at Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center. Formal attire. This special event marks a century of leadership, advocacy, collaboration, community growth, and success, and you are all part of this momentous celebration.
