Objectives & Goals:

- Update the annual policy statement.
- Monitor state legislative issues.
- Monitor County Commission, City Council and Charlotte County Airport Authority meetings.
- Educate the membership and the general population regarding governmental issues that may affect the business community.
- Educate the Board about issues on which they are asked to take a position.
- Plan Annual Harborside Chat.
- Prepare Candidate's Questions/Forum.
- Develop a score card for state and local elected officials on issues of interest to the Chamber.
- Organize the Chamber's efforts to conduct a trip to Tallahassee during the legislative session.
